Wines by KT Tinta Tempranillo 2022 750ml

Predominantly Tempranillo, Graciano & Grenache from Clare Valley, SA, made by "KT" a self styled Riesling nerd. Well, if I wasn't already taken by the groovy, climate appropriate Euro variety blend, I was definitely sold on the Riesling nerd proclamation. Anyhow, onto the grog; deep dark and broody looking in the middle, youthful and bright at the edge; inviting nose of warm spices, blackberry, red rope liquorice and more spices. Medium weighted with a plush texture, very fine tannins, and zippy acid, it's full of berry flavours framed by spices. This wine is equal parts slurpable and serious, just needs to you choose your mood, crack and enjoy.
