COLOUR A deep, dark crimsony red.

AROMA Good depth of the fragrant, rich, dark berry fruit aromas so typical of these varieties; eg boysenberry and blackberry along with a ‘cherry ripe’ character adding complexity.

PALATE Lovely sweet and smoky dark plum fruit flavours along with some delicious blackberry fruit characters. The wine is well structured with these generous dark berry fruit flavours complemented by the chewy, lightly drying tannins picked up from the skin contact during fermentation.
