The Other Wine Co is an offshoot label of acclaimed Adelaide Hills producer, Shaw & Smith who seem to have pulled out all stops with this Pinot Gris effort that's bright golden in colour and smells huge, pear tart, walnut, glace ginger on the nose, big rich mouthfeel delivering baked pear, pineapple and ginger flavours, slightly nutty with hints of toast, this stuff is an antidote to boring Pinot Gris for sure.
