Te Mata Estate Gamay Noir 2023 750ml

I keep talking to people who "feel like a Pinot" but are "all Pinot-ed out" and nabbed this wine with these people in mind, the lighter & brighter red trend has been refreshing and fun, and if you wish to continue the theme but feel like something that's "not Pinot" well, here's your wine. Pale crimson colour, looks light and fresh, fragrant pepper, sour cherry and a smidge of jasmine on the nose, the palate is lead by a bouquet of spices, with taut red berry flavours there too, finishes gently with a bright peppery floral flourish, lovely at room temperature, would go great with a quick chill, and I think something like a beef salad in summer would be magnificent with this.
