Tempranillo grapes from Heathcote, treated to some really good oak, from a warm, dry year. A really bold, chewy, muscular wine that screams Heathcote far louder than it does Tempranillo. Inky colour, fabulous ripe cherry and spice aromas, opulent texture, generous, juicy, soft dry finish. Grouse. Probably overstocked here, let's clear some out; was $40.
