Nick Spencer Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2023 750ml

Chardonnay from the hills of Tumbarumba in New South Wales, this particular vineyard sits 700m above sea level. It pours a youthful pale gold colour with a slight green tinge and smells magnificent, spring blossoms, fresh nectarine and nashi, gentle toastiness. "Special K" not too heavy, not too light palate weight with a luxurious texture, sporting bright and pure crisp fruit flavours with a nice malty backbone, some straw and hay there too. The finish is long and dry, beautiful ripe nectarine flavours with that malt biscuit and a touch of spice there too. Really, really, really pretty Modern Australian Chardonnay.
