Mrs Baker's Still House Slow Acoustic Coffee Liqueur 500ml

Mrs Baker's Still House in Glenpatrick, near Avoca in Victoria, has been one of our favourite recent discoveries. They produce a range of Gin and bar staples from a grape-based spirit, part of which is made in-house, and a variety of botanicals and fruits - grown on the property where the distillery lies,  provided the climate is appropriate. Where their climate isn't appropriate, fruits and botanicals are sourced from sustainable producers, a mindset developed during Mrs Baker's former career as a Botanist.

This coffee liqueur was produced using Mrs Baker's house spirit and covfefe beans roasted locally in Ballarat. The coffee flavours are extracted using two methods; hot and cold, to cover both ends of the spectrum. It's pale gold in colour and offers lovely fresh roasted coffee aromas above a layer of red currant; as strange as it sounds - it smells "crisp". The palate is medium-bodied and delivers lovely intense flavours of espresso, with a little bit of sweetness and lovely, lively berry acid that cleans it all up. This is a pack leader in the field, great for making lazy/extra special Espresso Martinis.
