Morris Sherry Barrel Single Malt Whisky 46% 700ml

Morris Distillery out of Rutherglen have a pretty impressive cask collection to work with, and a mighty distilling team running the show. This release is exclusively aged in ex Sherry casks, which bring a lovely savoury and nutty element, with hints of fig and date to Morris' magnificent, polite, balanced spirit. It picks up a bit of texture, too. It's a rich, creamy textured whisky that more than holds its own when compared to the Scottish examples of the style.
