John Rexer founded Ilegal Mezcal in 2006, deciding to create a "legit" version of the illicit Mezcal he enjoyed during his Central American travels. We're glad he did, the range is delicious.

This one's been aged in oak casks which by law must be a minimum of 200L for a period of 1-3 years, which adds a depth of sweetness and texture to the legendary smoky and peppery flavours you'd expect from Mezcal. The balance here is a real highlight.

Our delivery policy

We deliver locally (within 5km) between 5pm & 8pm every day we are open. Delivery is free and there are no minimums. Non local delivery is by Australia Post and costs $15 for all orders under $250. For more info, hit the button below.

It can be tricky, we know... sorry. Main street is your best bet, we can bring goods to your car click and collect style, or if you're brave, you can legally park out the front of the shop on Saturday, believe it or not.
