Gueissard Le Petit G Rose 2022 750ml

Grenache, Syrah & Cinsault from Bandol in the very south of France. Very gentle extraction, sporting the classic Provence style anemic pale salmon colour, strawberries & cream, blood orange on the nose - it's the extra citrus complexity on top of the berries that sets it apart. Light and fresh in the mouth, lovely dry finish. Looks simple and you sure as heck could quaff it like it's a simple drink not think wine, but if you peer a little deeper, there's complexity there that belies this wine's price. Yum.
