This Pinot Meunier comes from a small vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. I like to refer to Pinot Meunier as the spicy weird cousin. By comparison to the more famous member of the family, it can be a little reclusive and shy. This wine sort of fits that bill, if you've got a Pinot itch to scratch, but you're all Pinot-ed out, give this a whirl. It's light, bright, full of red fruit with a lovely peppery, spicy backbone and a trim, taut finish.
