Sweet Pea is one of Travis Nott's pet projects in his Bonehead brewery - MDL stands for Melbourne Dark Lager. Style-wise it's probably closest to a Schwarzbier. It's flavoursome and robust, but very easy to drink. It offers up an uncomplicated balance between roasty and smashable. Well worth a squiz at this price.
