Arcane Extraroma Amber Rum 12yo 700ml

Mauritius is a tiny island off the East coast of Madagascar in the Indian ocean. It's a similar distance South of the equator as many Carribean islands are North, while the distance between the two regions is enormous, there certainly are enough similarities to suggest this is prime Rum territory. This Extraorama Amber Rum is a 12yo produced from locally grown, fresh sugarcane juice. It pours a deep amber colour and smells like tropical fruit, cedar, vanilla. The palate is so perfectly balanced and polished; it's punchy and powerful but superbly poised. Rich and sweet up front, spicy and dry down back. Fantastic stuff.
