Spotlight #1 - Redbank Emily NV

Rach had a real bright spark idea the other day when we were brainstorming stuff to throw up on our socials; "why don't you talk about products that you feel deserve more love?" This is one of them; I have a long connection to Redbank wines that I won't bore you with, but it is a wine and an operation that I'm really fond of. I had a bit of a ponder, and one of the very first products I stocked back in September 2019 when I opened was Redbank's Emily sparkly.
Back then it fit the bill; delicious, well priced, family owned. Now it still ticks those three boxes, but perhaps now more than ever we could do with a bit of luxury that doesn't smash the bank balance. I think we snooze on this a bit because people are comfortable spending twentyish bucks on a bottle of wine, and most bubbles south of $25 leave a lot to be desired.
It's frigging yum, independent, locally made & owned wine at a very humble price that belies its quality. Bright, fresh, and delicious. It's well worth a crack.
