Wangolina Shiraz Cabernet 2023 750ml

Shiraz and Cabernet is the true icon blend of Australia, and we are all for it.

Grown predominantly in our Mt Benson vineyard, with a small contribution of Padthaway Shiraz to bring some ripeness for this vintage. The fruit was machine harvested & made as separate parcels in open-top fermenters, where they were hand-plunged & moved into a mixture of new & conditioned French hogsheads for 11 months & blended before bottling.

A balanced, fresh, bright & comforting 'pub style' red blend. Cabernet provides soft undertones of minty aromas, moving onto the palate with edges of dark summer bramble. Shiraz brings balance and harmony with crunchy red plum, fruits of the forest and brightening acidity. Some finely tuned French oak gently shapes the tannins, finishing with some fresh cedar & brown spice.
