This cheeky little Pinot Noir comes from Marlborough, New Zealand from a producer that we know nothing about. No matter, this isn't story time, it's GROG TIME and the fact we're bothering to write about it should be some indication that we like it.
It pours a deep purple colour with a bright red hue, it sports a lifted, aromatic nose with smells like cherries and berries, a little earthy - kinda like terracotta pots. On the palate it's bright, fresh, juicy and delicious. A heckin' yum drinking not thinking Pinot that may well reveal some of it's secrets in time. 13.0% alc/vol.
$27.00 per bottle. $24.84 each in any dozen or more wines. Mixed or straight.
