Shadowfax Minnow Grenache Mataro 2022 750ml

This is a 50/50 split of Grenache & Mataro grown in Werribee which is not somewhere I'd expect such lovely grapes to grow. Pours a lovely deep colour and smells really pretty and inviting; raspberry, blueberry, chocolate, a little white pepper. The palate sports a plush silky texture which belies its modest 13.5% alcohol, and is packed full of rich berry and pepper flavours, a zippy cranberry finish. Delicious drinking.
