Seabrook Lineage Shiraz 2020 750ml

The red wines of Langhorne Creek don't seem to grab much attention, though I think with many people watching their budgets a little more closely at the moment, they deserve to have more of a spotlight shone on them. This 2020 Lineage Shiraz is a ripper for $20, it pours an inky purple colour, smells like dark red fruit, earth and spices. The palate is full bodied, and carries rich dark berry flavours above a layer of spice, dark chocolate and a touch of vanilla. Soft well integrated tannins, and a clean dry finish. It's great value, and what we like most about it is how well it stands up in the bottle. If you're the kinda person to open a bottle and graze - drinking over the course of a few nights, this wine looks as good on days 3 & 4 as it does day 1.
