The Rising vineyard is just off that lovely road in between St Andrews & Yarra Glen. Fabulous spot, and by crikey can they grow some delicious grapes there. This here pinot looks like clear cherry juice. Meaty, earthy aromas initially then ripe sour cherry, a little musk stick, cola. The palate is really racy; charcuterie and savoury vibes dominate, but there are pops of sour cherry that freshen things up. Really fine tannins and a crunchy finish provides a great vinale to what's again, another ripping 2021 Victorian wine.
