Not sure if it's a symptom of being shown so many Pinot Noir & Shiraz wines, or if we actually adore Barbera, but every time we try one we both tend to look at one another and proclaim... "How good is Barbera? We should do more with Barbera." Then we forget. I like to use the same analogy for Ska music. Hear some Ska on RRR or PBS and think to myself, damn I love Ska, I should do more Ska, it makes me happy.... then as soon as the next song is on, I forget about it. It's time to make a change and make BARBERA SKA MUSIC HAPPEN.
Deep violet colour with a slightly bricky rim. The polite nose offers heaps of spicy, stemmy woody notes—a little Sarspiralla vibe. The palate is light to medium-bodied and like drinking velvet-smooth tart berry juice with a heap of five spice, earthy notes with little savoury pops. It's a really refreshing, interesting red without any pointy bits. We reckon you should put some Ska on and give it a whirl.*
*Ska music optional.
