Punt e Mes Red Vermouth 750ml

Born in Turin, Italy in 1870, the name means “point and a half” - a point of sweetness and half a point of bitterness; the bitterness being a distinctive highlight of this Vermouth. Dark, rich amber in the glass, it smells like orange peel, cola syrup, and Christmas spice. On the palate it’s bold, bittersweet, with burnt orange, sticky herbs, and a caramel bitterness that makes you want another sip. Brilliant in a Negroni if you like it a touch darker, unbeatable in an Americano, or just over ice.
