A big departure from the previously mentioned "polite" beers by Project Brewing, THICC AS is an obnoxious statement Stout that is well worth a look. It's very aromatic, generous in texture & body, packs a big booze wallop. Impressive stuff.
Project Brewing kicked off in Rowville in 2019, headed up by husband and wife team Brayden & Caitlin. Brayden was an engineer and enthusiastic homebrewer in a former life, the brewhouse, which he designed and built, resided in their home until the brewery and taproom officially opened up. They are one of several brewers who had to quickly pivot from the brewpub model into spirits and packaged beer thanks to the mayhem that the pandemic caused.
