Philip Lobley has a property in the Yea Valley just north of the Yarra Valley. After a career growing grapes and making wine for other people he decided to plant vines on his property to make wine with his family. Lovely chap making lovely booze. This one's a classic Australian Cabernet Franc; deep red colour with aromas of berries and twigs. The palate is medium-bodied, bright and juicy upfront with a rustic, stemmy, earthy finish. 13.0%
