Philip Lobley Bad Kitty Pinot Gris 2021 750ml

Pinot Gris from the Kinglake Ranges. Lots of time on skins, fermented in old French oak. Murky peach colour, heaps of sediment in the bottle. Expressive nose of turkish delight, peaches & cream, ginger, lemongrass and allspice. It's medium weight and packed with ripe juicy peach and nectarine flavours, built around an aromatic pepper and saline framework, a teeny-tiny whiff of funk, and gentle grippiness too. This stuff is grouse.
