Shiraz from the Clare Valley, about an hour north of the Barossa. Deep inky colour, big nose of blackberry, blackcurrant, a little chocolate. Huge texture, big and cuddly; heaps of soft berry flavour, again a little chocolate and vanilla, soft nicely integrated tannins, dry chocolatey finish. Big generous wine perfect for a few warm nights midweek.
