Roselle is a new Bitter by revered Vermouth maker Maidenii. They've gone local for the base wine, using a Heathcote Rose and then 24 botanicals to spruce it up. It pours a murky pale pink colour and smells profoundly of pepperberry then lavender, raspberry, violet and a plethora of herbs and spices. The front palate is sweet and vibrant with a great plush texture, leading with citrus and berries upfront, before taking a bitter, peppery savoury twist with a very long herbaceous peppery finish. Yum, again.
