Lingon Martin Cuvee Suzanne Gamay Pet Nat 750ml
Lingon Martin Cuvee Suzanne Gamay Pet Nat 750ml
This wine is made using Methode Ancestrale from Gamay grapes grown just outside Lyon, France. It pours a pale salmon colour with a slight spritz. It smells like a punnet of ripe mixed berries. Heavenly. On the palate, it's a blackcurrant driven fruit bomb, ripe and a touch sweet, though the sweetness is somewhat mitigated by the sparkle. It isn't as funky or savoury as Australian natural bubbles, so if you're looking for a funk bomb - this ain't it. However, if you have even the slightest penchant for Ribena, consider this a bubbly Ribena inspired drink that'll make you much happier than Ribena ever could. Fun party times in a bottle. Responsibly, of course.
