This is the latest release of Ben Sewell's Wild Dark Ale. Rye mash, without hops, fermented in ex-Shiraz barrels with his house culture. It's an incredible beer; super dark with a gentle spritz; aromas of black forest cake, espresso, and balsamic on toasted rye bread. It's got a velvety texture, delivering lots of sour cherry, chocolate, raspberry, and spice flavours with a booming sour finish. Quirky, but glorious.
