Hurdle Creek Still is up in Victoria's high country, a great destination for food, beer, wine, spirits and scenery. They make their own spirit in house from grain, and have used it to create a massive, punchy Gin here. Huge aromatics, a rich oily texture, big booze but exquisite balance makes it all worthwhile. This is right near the pinnacle of the Aussie Gin mountain for mine.
