The first release of Fury & Son's Peach Farmhouse last year sort of caught us off guard, in the same way Ferrari announcing they'd made a pick-up truck would. Their beers are so straightforward and dependable; good honest grogs that never really blow anyone away - but never disappoint, so we probably had our guard down. It was an absolute cracker of a beer, up there with the very best made in Australia. This time they've chosen to go into battle armed with nectarines. It's bright, juicy and well... nectarine-y, light and refreshing on the palate, but intsense at the same time, a healthy dose of barnyard funk from the Brett and well, here we are again. A cracking beer that ticks a lot of refreshment, funk and balance boxes. A steal at this price, and it will probably develop further with careful cellaring.
