Had someone say "hey you've gotta check out Fontaine beers...." so I did. Pale gold colour with a slight haze, great carbonation, and plenty of fine, crisp white foam. Smells yum; dry bickies, lime zest, a little funky herbaceous twang. The palate is light in body, savoury, profoundly dry - fresh bread vibes backed by a teeny little funk. It plays a pretty straight bat, what it lacks in bells and whistles, it delivers in refreshment; this stuff scratches a very similar itch to light sparkling wine and would serve as a great aperitif beer.
