Ellis Rebel Cabernet 2019 750ml

Ellis Wines have 25+ year old vines planted in the quiet village of Colbinabbin famed for its silo art in the north of the Heathcote G.I. The vines are on Heathcote's famous, ancient Cambrian soil (not all wines from Heathcote are on that soil) and have some very famous neighbours; Whistling Eagle, Chalmers, Kennedy, Shiraz Republic - just to name a few. 

Pours a dense dark purple with big aromas of blackberry, liquorice, soil & spice. The palate is full bodied plush & silky, pure blackberry at the core - framed by earthy peppery spicy notes, finishes dusty dry & long with spicy blackberry flavours lingering.
