Rachel is a bit funny with wines that have a price ticket like this, and to be honest I can't blame her. Once we get north of about fifty bucks (massive generalisation) I think the benefits diminish pretty quickly. This was a big exception to that rule though - both our faces lit up. A terrific Burgundian Pinot, marked by its purity, complexity and power to weight. Sensational, but for this kinda coin it bloody well should be.
