Cobaw Ridge Syrah 2018 750ml

Syrah grapes grown biodynamically on Alan & Nellie Coopers magnificently curated vineyard in at East Pastoria which is up on a hill in between Lancefield & Kyneton. It is a very cool site which makes for very fine, pure, precise wines that reflect the site more than the variety; and thats exactly what this wine is all about. Perfumed, but wispy, lifted and kinda ethereal. Light and fine on the palate, cherries, pepper, herbs, spices, minerality, umami, not a hair out of place. Magnificent modern Australian wine.
