Grenache flies under the radar, as do red wines from the Clare Valley in general I feel. This one's unoaked for maximum juiciness and drinkability. It pours a vivid ruby colour and smells lovely; Raspberry, cherry, pomegranate, florals and a smidge of pepper, the palate is medium bodied, juicy and full of the red fruit, with peppery background, a lick of crunchy acid and gentle tannic grip, finishes fresh clean and dry with the florals and spices.
