A nod to the great white blends of Alsace, comprised of Gewurztraminer, Riesling & Weiber Herold, Chaffey Bros' Dufte Punkt has been a staple vino in my heart for the best part of a decade. Pale yellow and super aromatic; heaps of florals, ginger, and a touch of lime. The palate is slick, generously textured and fruit forward up front, stonefruit and citrus, before a big lick of crunchy acid and glace ginger spice cleans it all up. This stuff kicks butt with some spicy noodles.
