Only two barrels produced this year, unfortunately. One left quietly, the other had it's lees stirred. Lifted aromas of talc, baked apple and pear. The palate is really interestingly textured, almost kinda creamy - a bit like Fino Sherry. Flavours of baked apple, and a little quince emerge above a bready backbone. It has a tart, puckery booming finish. One heck of a wine this year, perhaps the best iteration we've seen.
