Blood Moon Rise Rose Nero D'Avola Pet Nat 2022 750ml

Nero D'Avola grapes from Chalmers in the Murray Darling region made by Matt Aulich at Blood Moon wines. This wine has a unique link to TGB, as Rachel was called in to help Matt bottle after an equipment fault meant all this vino needed to be bottled in a hurry, this led to the wine needing to be disgorged, and as such, it pours a little clearer, deep crimson colour with a gentle fizz. Aromatically it plays a pretty straight bat, red fruit, and spice, the palate is gentle and fun, fruit-forward up front, savoury, dry, and spicy down back. It's all fun and no-nonsense, an ideal wine for a warm sunny day.
