Blood Moon Eruption Cabernet Franc 2022 750ml

Cabernet Franc grapes from Goonawarra in Sunbury, produced again in tiny quantities. This is the fourth vintage of this wine we've had in stock and it is an absolute ripper. Matt decided to de-stem all of the fruit this year due to very small berries, whereas previously it's been a mix of whole bunches and destemmed.  Deep crimson colour, jube-y; red and black fruit on the nose, quite light in body, but packed full of vibrant juicy fruit up front, savoury, taut, peppery and herbaceous down back -  a little of that Cabernetesque tomato leaf action balances out the fruitiness superbly. If you grab one of these and like it, come in and grab more pronto because this is all we have for the year and once it's gone, it's gone.
