Blonde Crow Fiano 2021 750ml

Blonde Crow is a range made of small batch non-traditional wines by West Cape Howe in Mount Barker, WA. This one's made from Fiano, wild fermented with extended skin contact. Slightly hazy pale gold colour with pineapple, apricot & toast on the nose, the grippy palate has heaps of ripe apricot flavour, with the pineapple acidity keeping things moving, fair whack of citrus and gentle pithy bitterness there too, finishes dry, slightly funky. This is a lovely, polite gateway into the world of skinsy vino.
