A grape variety not often seen as a single varetal in Australia, Graciano is most often used in blends. It hails from Spain where it is used mainly for blending into Rioja. The local expression by Hadyn pours a deep garnet colour and smells like sour cherry juice, a hint of cola and a sprinkle of white pepper. The palate is medium bodied, and super flavoursome. The tart cherries & plums, a hint of liquorice and lots of pepper. Fine dry tannins and a really long, clean finish. Kinda makes you wonder why more people don't give this grape the time and effort that Black & Ginger have demonstrated it deserves.
