I was a bit worried about Black IPA for a fleeting moment. Thought it might have gone the way of the Brut IPA, or the way Cold IPA is about to go in 16 weeks or so. Until this popped up. Good ol' reliable, 8 Wired have had a crack. The classic WC trio, Centennial, Amarillo, Idaho 7 combined into their roasty toasty malt base. Big, bitter and a bit chewy. It's everything you'd hope it'd be, but nothing more. Great at it's 6.0%, but can't help wondering how flash it'd look with a bit more grunt.
