Yalumba Steeple Vineyard Shiraz 2015 750ml

Single vineyard Shiraz from an ancient vineyard in Lights Pass on the Barossa Valley floor, treated to a long sleep in very good, very expensive new oak from 300+ year old trees. Inky purple clings to the glass. Incredible aromas of blackberry, pepper, grilled meat, kitchen spice, and liquorice. The palate is intensely flavoured and bold; ripe red and black fruits, plenty of them, framed by plenty of fine, dry tannin with a lovely trim and taut, peppery finish. Go on, treat yourself!
